Union Electric Group is among the biggest establishments of its kind, originally found to meet the rising demand for energy in the local and regional markets. It’s considered as a leading establishment in the electrical industry and represents an extremely important role in the reconstruction process that Syria is currently undergoing. Union Electric Group is built on an area of 155.000 m2 located in the industrial city of ADRA, and has the capability of producing: 1500 tons of copper & aluminum cables per month, 1000 tons PVC per month. 500 units of oily distribution transformers monthly.

Union Electric Group has five manufacturers that are specialized mainly in power cables (Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage and Extra High Voltage), control cables, overhead lines, special cables, bare copper, winding wires, meters, as well as PVC materials and distribution Transformers from 25 KVA to 5,000 KVA.

Union Cables Company was established by the end of 2016 in Adra Industrial Zone Nearside of Damascus Syria, and has been the leading cables manufacturer in the country, its main target is to take part effectively in the rebuilding process that Syria at the moment going through, as well as to be a well-known company leading the cables sector locally and worldwide. Our factory is supplied with the latest developed machinery and uses the latest technology to deliver the highest quality products.
Union Transformers originally found to meet the rising demand for energy in the local and regional markets. The production line has the capability of producing 500 units of oily distribution transformers per month. Union Transformers Company has obtained the Short Circuit performance certificate issued by IEC ASEFA as well to testing certificate from the high tension laboratory of Damascus University.
Union Plastic Company, formulate and produce a vast spectrum of Soft and Rigid PVC compounds as granules or powder, PVC has become a regional pioneer and intends to remain a loyal partner to decision makers, consultants, and contractors who believe in long term thinking. Our labs are equipped with the highest technologies in order to detect the perfect compounds insuring the best guaranteed quality.
One of our newly planted factories is copper rod factory. Copper rod manufactured by UEG is mainly used for all types of electric cables conductors, (power –telephone-automotive-enameled) as soft or hard drawn. Conforming to standard BS EN 13602:2002. Union Copper has been tested to show a result of 99.997 purity percentage.
Union winding wires manufactures top quality insulated winding wire with copper purity of 99.99%.
The insulation materials are imported from Europe according to thermal classes (220-200-185-155-120) and Insulation thickness Grade 1 or Grade 2 according to international standards IEC 60317, with wire dimension range from 0.25 till 3.00mm.
